About the event
Back for its nineteenth year, the Highlands Motoring Festival®, announces dates and a preliminary line up of events. Driving tours, Main Street parade, “Classics in the Park” invitational car show, Festival Banquet, and “High Octane” casual car show and gathering are planned. And remember that festival time is your only opportunity to purchase HMF branded apparel and other merchandise. We hope you will be able to join us next summer in Highlands NC.
The festival will celebrate the 250th anniversary of America with a special theme where gearheads will reenact the revolutionary war between England and the Colonies with classic cars. England’s finest, the Jaguar, will take on America’s sports car, the Corvette, in a year against year lineup of more than a dozen classics from each brand. These classics will join sixty other pre-1990 classics in Saturday’s “Classics in the Park” invitational car show.
